In three weeks I will be a wife. I think that is all for now – it’s more than enough to make my heart smile (:

There’s this Aussie chick, Lisa Mitchell, who sings about coin laundries. And it makes me think of laundry, which again makes me think of knitting in some strange way. Laundry and knitting – two things I love. I know they probably seem mundane, but I get a kick out of both. I love doing laundry, mostly because I’m OCD about how clean and soft the clothes I wear are, but also because it’s stereotypically seen as the task of a housewife, and housewives are mostly mothers. And housewives and mothers are mostly nurturers. When I do my laundry, I often think about the future laundry loads I’ll do. Laundry loads containing tiny onesies and itty-bitty socks, soccer jerseys and ballet skirts. I think about the home I want to create to contain the people owning those items of laundry. I think about how I’ll be all I’m dreaming of beeing now, and I’ll still be doing the mundane task of laundry – however to me, I don’t think it’ll ever be mundane.
Knitting I love because it lets you create. I love expressing myself through making something. It may not always be good, but I love just being able to do it for the sake of my sanity. Sometimes I have this built up feeling of un-contentment in my tummy. It’s like a stone that won’t go away until I’ve been able to express myself. Sometimes it’s majorly hard, cause I can try and express it in so many different ways, but none of them really work. Knitting, however, has never failed. I love watching my knitting piece unfold right in front of my very eyes, while my pins click together. I love sitting inside in cold winter Norway (knitting in Australia just isn’t the same) watching something on the TV and knitting at the same time. It’s pure bliss. I get to do that this year too (: And this time, my BFF will be there! More bliss.
What makes your heart happy?

Have you ever been so happy you could almost feel it in your little piggy-toe? I am. The most amazing people are in my life – and I’m getting married in four weeks! (: Bliss.
Milla Abbey and James – one little person and one bigger person
I just couldn’t imagine my life without.
(Don’t worry, he’s not trying to eat her)

Dust. My enemy. My reasonably new enemy – we’ve only just disliked each other for about a year now. But none the less, it enjoys stuffing up my nose at all times, and I hate trying to blow it out at all times. Life is still busy I tell you.
Kidsfest you guys. Why wouldn’t you?
